Getting Your Bs is an Easy 'A'

Are you low on energy? Have trouble concentrating at work? Constantly feel like you’re about to come down with the flu? If you’ve been under a lot of stress or have recently transitioned to a vegetarian or vegan diet, then you could be low on vitamin B.

What is Vitamin B?

Vitamin B is actually a complex of several nutrients. In general, they help you stay calm, support adrenal function, and maintain a healthy nervous system. B vitamins are also important for crucial metabolic processes such as metabolism and red blood cell production. B deficiencies can cause several problems including anemia, fatigue, depression, loss of appetite, cramps, respiratory infections, hair loss and eczema.

Nutritional Yeast is a Good Source of B

One of Bazaar Spice’s newest additions, that’s high in most B complex nutrients, is nutritional yeast. In addition to vitamin B, it also contains trace minerals and some protein. You can eat nutritional yeast with your food as an alternative to taking a B supplement. Try sprinkling it on popcorn instead of butter, or over other savory meals.
